DBL Group organized a day-long program dedicated to its employees’ children who passed with flying colours in their respective Board exams. It was held on Saturday, 13th June, 2015 at DBL Factory, Mymun Complex, Kasimpur, Gazipur. The programme was attended by Mr. M.A. Jabbar, Managing Director, DBL Group, Mr. M.A. Rahim, Vice Chairman & Group CEO, DBL Group, Mr. M.A. Quader, Deputy Managing Director, DBL Group, employees of DBL Group along with their family members and other distinguished invited guests.
The day-long program was divided into two sessions.
The first session held in the morning at 11 am, titled “Academic Path Counseling Session”. This program was designed for DBL Group employees’ children who just passed H.S.C /Alim exam and need proper guidance to build a successful career in future. The program gathered eminent academicians and scholars from reputed universities of the country. To name a few, Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Eastern University, Dr. Shima Zaman, Associate Professor, Department of Law, University of Dhaka and others were present to counsel almost a good number of students who gathered to attend the session. Here, the academicians listened to the queries of the students and addressed the queries by giving them proper direction to attain a successful career in future.
The second session held in the afternoon at 2.30 pm at the same venue, was an initiative of appreciation for the meritorious children of DBL Group’s employees who achieved A+ or Golden A+ in the examination of JSC/JDC, SSC/Dakhil & HSC/Alim. The students were handed over with appreciation crest and prize money by the DBL Group Board of Directors.
Every year, DBL Group organizes such programs to encourage the students of its employees. Besides, DBL Group bears all the education expenses of the students who got A, A+ and Golden A+ in their respective board exams.
Since its inception, DBL Group has been working for the betterment of its employees and their family’s education, health and overall improvement in living standard. These initiatives not only are an encouragement for DBL Group’s employees, but it also helps students to continue their education properly. DBL Group believes in working as a family and it wants to provide a harmonious workplace to its employees. Thus, it helps create a good employer-employee relationship too.
