The process of transforming knowledge into skills requires actions and the actions make a huge difference in the success story of organizations. At DBL, we attempt to be more productive through actions that are rooted to proper management of knowledge and transform it into skills.
Quality Control Circles (QCC) at DBL group has relatively short history but carries tremendous success and pride. The objective of QC Circle is based on the Japanese business philosophy of “KAIZEN” which refers to “continuous improvement”. The journey of QCC’s started on 4th of February, 2014 with only 2 (two) Quality Circles which now reached a remarkable amount of 122 in 2018. QCC’s made irreplaceable contribution to DBL by analyzing problems and recommending the probable solution of any problems that appeared in the workplace. DBL group definitely is a pioneer of Quality Control Circles in Bangladesh having their accomplishments recognized both nationally and internationally. The best Quality Circles undoubtedly belong to DBL group as their work is appreciated with Championship Award in the most recent national competition organized by Bangladesh Society for Total Quality Management ( BSTQM) and 3 ( Three) Gold awards in the international competition organized by ICQCC in Manila, Philippines. With the motto of “continuous development of the Quality Control movement”, DBL is in the process of sustaining and improving the quality of QCC’s as it offers incredible tangible and intangible benefits.
