DBL Group achieves Honorable Mention in the Best Social Innovation Category at the Bangladesh Innovation Award 2018

DBL Group has achieved Honorable Mention in the category: Best Social Innovation at the Bangladesh Innovation Award 2018. Abdul Wahed, Chairman of DBL Group has received the award from Ahmed Jalal, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank on 20 October 2018.

Mini Fire Brigade – the first public-private partnership of DBL Group with GIZ and the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence has won this status for the category. The Mini Fire Brigade which is located adjacent to DBL Group factory premises is serving as the community fire brigade for the Kashimpur-Konabari industrial cluster.

Bangladesh Innovation Award is an initiative of Bangladesh Innovation Conclave which is organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum in partnership with a2i – Access to Information, ICT Division – Bangladesh, USAID and UNDP.
