Inauguration of Eco Threads & Yarns

Eco Threads & Yarns started its journey on 20 July 2017. An unostentatious ceremony & dowa mahfil was held in Color City-2 premises, Mymun Complex, Kashimpur, Gazipur to mark the occasion.

The Board of Directors of DBL Group: Abdul Wahed, Chairman, M.A. Jabbar, Managing Director, M.A. Rahim, Vice Chairman and M.A. Quader, Deputy Managing Director & Group CEO were present during the ceremony. The Board of Directors have cut the ribbon and pressed on the switches of different machines to inaugurate the operations of the factory.

Md. Shakhawat Hossain, COO and Md. Rafiqul Anam, Executive Director – Production of Eco Threads & Yarns accompanied them during the inauguration ceremony. Md. Ishaque, FCMA Group Advisor, and other high officials of DBL Group have also attended the ceremony.

Eco Threads & Yarns is a new endeavour of DBL Group for global quality sewing thread, dyed sweater yarn, fiber & yarn dyeing services to enrich the garment and textile industry of our country.

Under the brand `eco’, the new establishment will provide a unique combination of quality, service & comfort to brands, designers, manufacturers and consumers for catering the requirement of sewing thread, dyed sweater yarn, fiber & yarn dyeing services. The best feature of `eco’ is the flexibility and adaptability to provide stitching & knitting happiness like perfect glossy luster, excellent lubrication, good rot proof, low water shrinkage, high fastness to abrasion, washing, sunlight, perspiration and sublimation.

Color City-2 conforms the reliability and accuracy of international standards, which is done in compliance with advanced European technology like state-of-the-art machineries from Thies GmbH & Co KG, Ugolini srl, SSM Schärer Schweiter Mettler AG, RF Systems Group, Dettin S.p.A, SALCE srl & ColorMaster system for recipe management and color measurement. Also, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provides unified cloud platform which ensures a single business process tool that cuts across processes and domains to ensure consistent workflow.
