Neural Semiconductor’s VLSI Design Center begins its journey

DBL Group’s latest initiative Neural Semiconductor’s VLSI Design Center began its journey on 2nd April 2017. The VLSI Design Center was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BUET, Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam. DBL Group’s Board of Directors: M.A. Jabbar, Managing Director, M.A. Rahim, Vice Chairman, M.A. Quader, Deputy Managing Director and other high officials, Neural Semiconductor’s COO, Md. Shakhawat Hossain and other officials were present during the inauguration.

 

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Dr. Rabiul Islam, Senior Technical Manager, High-Performance Computing Program, TSMC Technology, USA, Dr. ABM Harun-ur Rashid, Professor, EEE, BUET, Dr. Quazi Din Mohd. Khosru, Professor, EEE, BUET, Prof. Dr. M. Rezwan Khan, Vice Chancellor, United International University, Tariq Barkatullah, Deputy Project Director, Leveraging ICT Project, Md. Mohsinul Alam, Joint Secretary, Department of ICT, Bangladesh, Syed Farhad Ahmed, Managing Director, Aamra, Jayashankar Narayanan kutty, Director of Sales, Cadence India, teachers from reputed universities like BUET & NSU, VLSI experts and respected dignitaries from several other organizations.

 

The VLSI Design Center will be based in Bangladesh. A marketing/customer interface office will be maintained in the USA.

 

Neural Semiconductor is a technology firm and a concern of DBL Group. It will design Chips for Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence Markets. Its core expertise in VLSI Design Center are physical circuit design, tape out services, IoT, APR and ASIC flow to quickly take relatively simple designs from RTL to GDS, AI Deep Learning, Emergency Service Center and GIS. 25 aspiring engineers from BUET are already on board in the Neural Semiconductor talent pool. These professionals are trained overseas and are pledged to contribute in materializing the vision of the company. The key personnel leading the team are professionals who have 20+ years of strong experience of working in Intel Corporation and other renowned companies in Silicon Valley, USA.
