Participation in the 19th National Annual Quality Convention

The 19th National Annual Quality Convention took place on 09 May 2015 at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka. The theme of the convention was “Enhancing quality through KAIZEN”. Renowned Japanese Management Specialist, Professor Dennis Tachiki presented the keynote paper. Mr. M. A. Rahim, Vice Chairman & Group CEO, DBL Group was the chief guest of the program. Mr. Feroz Rahim, Group Managing Director, Rahimafrooz (Bangladesh) Ltd. attended the program as special guest. Among others Syed Alimuzzaman, Chairman, Convention Organizing Committee & Secretary General, BSTQM, Prof. Dr. M R Kabir, Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Asia Pacific, Chairman, Education Committee & Vice President, BSTQM, Mr. A M M Khairul Bashar, President, BSTQM and other distinguished guests were present during the ceremony.

DBL attended the convention with its 16 teams that participated in QC Circle Training and Competition. DBL high officials were present during the occasion.

Among 42 QC Circle Teams of different companies like Rahimafrooz, ACI, Energypac Electronics Limited etc.; DBL Group secured the 1st and 2nd position. All the other participated QC Circle Teams have won achievement’s trophy as well.
